About Me
Artist and Storyteller
Hello! I am Juniper Marshall, currently a freshman at Ames High School. I have been doodling and coming up with stories for as long as I can remember, and there is really no career more fit for me or that would make me happier than being a graphic novel creator. Telling my stories through my art is the sole purpose of my existence.
Although I love art in all its forms, my favorite medium is digital. I started doing digital art on an old iPad from 2002, drawing with my finger, but from the very first time I opened a program I knew that this was my calling. Since then I have upgraded from the old iPad and free crappy drawing program, and now use a recently made iPad air, an apple pencil, and switch between programs, my favorites being Clip Studio Paint and Procreate. I have also used desktop programs such as Adobe Photoshop during my art classes, and I have begun to explore using Adobe Fresco on my iPad. It's hard to describe the feeling I get when I'm working on pieces of art, especially my comics, but every ounce of stress, sadness, exhaustion, it all leaves my body I am left feeling like I am floating in a timeless pocket of our universe, where the only possible emotion to experience is pure joy. |
